Coil heaters are an advance concept of thermal engineering, also known as high performance tubular heaters or cable heaters. The basic construction of these heaters consists of compacted MgO, high temperature resistance wire, and Chrome Nickel Steel tube. These heaters can be constructed with or without built in thermocouples.

Coil Heaters

Coil heaters are an advanced concept of thermal engineering, also known as high performance tubular heaters or cable heaters. Constructed with compacted MgO, high-temperature resistance wire, and a Chrome Nickel Steel tube, these heaters can be custom engineered with or without built-in thermocouples.

Key Features & Construction

  • Versatile Termination Exits: Available in Tangential, Axial, and Radial exit configurations.
  • Built-in Thermocouple Options: Can be integrated with 'J' type (Fe K) or 'K' type (Cr Al) thermocouples (grounded or ungrounded).
  • High-Temperature Resistance: Operates at maximum sheath temperatures up to 750°C and adapter temperatures up to 150°C.
  • Superior Insulation: Compacted high-purity MgO insulation with NiCr 80:20 heating wire housed inside Chrome Nickel Steel tubing.
  • Flexible Power & Voltage: Compatible with a voltage range from 24 to 250 volts with power ratings customized to the application.
