Hot Rod Cartridge Heaters

Engineered through refined swaging processes, specially designed cores, high-purity magnesium oxide fill, and nickel-chromium resistance wire. Hot Rods routinely outperform standard cartridge heaters in demanding high-temperature and high-vibration applications.

Key Construction & Features

  • High-Temperature Leads: Flexible lead wires rated for operating temperatures up to 550°C.
  • High-Impact Ceramic Cap: Retards contamination, withstands high vibration, and prevents wire fraying.
  • Nickel-Chromium Resistance Wire: Evenly wound for maximum heater life and uniform heat distribution.
  • Compacted MgO Insulation: High-purity magnesium oxide fill selected for maximum dielectric strength and thermal conductivity.
  • Corrosion Resistant Sheath: Heavy-duty Stainless Steel or Inconel sheath for oxidation protection.
  • TIG-Welded End Disc: Provides a secure seal to prevent moisture absorption and internal contamination.
